Spanish III is open to those that successfully completed Spanish II/IIH the previous year.
Proficiency goals for Spanish III:
Our Spanish proficiency goal for Spanish III is Intermediate Low. Here's what you will be able to do by the end of Spanish III with an Intermediate Low level of proficiency in Spanish:
Homework
I will provide you with lessons that you can relate to followed up by ample time to practice in class. You should expect to complete homework nightly, at approximately 15-20 minutes in length. This will help reinforce what we did in class. Language proficiency is a process. It takes time, energy and commitment. You can do it! Let me know how I can help. Homework
Academic assistance
How can parents help their children study when they don't know Spanish themselves? Go over your child's vocabulary list with him/her by asking the child the word in English and having him/her spell it back to you in Spanish. It works great!
Also, academic support is offered at WCHS daily. Check Schoology for details.
